The City of Chester,is in the county of Cheshire England, near the Welsh Border. I arrived by train at Chester station. There are several hotels near he station. I stayed at Belgrave Hotel , a budget hotel that suited my needs.----------------

Chester station is in the north-east of the city and as 7 platforms. The city wall is about 2 miles in circumference with towers. ---- The cathedral is a Church of England cathedral dates from 1093, and is built of red sandstone.
